About Me

I am a research consultant for the Ocean State Policy Research Institute and an editor for the Hummel Report in Providence Rhode Island. I also am the founder and president of the Foundation for Intellectual Diversity, a Brown University alumni association. From 2006 to 2009, I was a correspondent for the Union Leader in Manchester, New Hampshire, where I covered the 2008 president primary as well as crime, education, economic development, and local news. My work has been published by ABCNews.com, MSNBC.com, Parable Magazine, and The Providence Journal.

About This Site

The centerpiece of this site is the blog featuring my opinions and observations about a broad range of topics—new urbanism, the style and substance of politics, the cultural contradictions of globalization, ancient churches of the east, theistic existentialism, immigration and demography, economic philosophy, and postcolonialism. As far as the ideology or philosophy from which I will be approaching issues, I will leave that to readers and let my blog posts speak for themselves.

Although it should go without saying, I’ll say it anyway: the opinions expressed in this site are mine and mine only, not of any past or present employers.
